Does Tropic Air Charters serve every destination listed?
No service or access is guaranteed by inclusion in this directory. Each request is reviewed against current airport or facility status, aircraft and crew availability, aircraft suitability, route, weather, customs, permissions, payload, cargo acceptance, and other operating requirements.
Why are destinations grouped by island instead of listed as routes?
Tropic Air Charters provides on-demand charter service, so the premium structure is destination based. This avoids presenting the company like a scheduled airline and helps clients choose the island, airport, or mission they need.
Can I request passenger charter and cargo charter for the same destination?
Yes. Tropic Air Charters can review private passenger, cargo, yacht provisioning, freight forwarder, resort supply, construction, perishables, and combination mission requests where operationally appropriate.
Are private cays and smaller airstrips treated differently?
Yes. Private cays, smaller airstrips, legacy identifiers, and specialized destinations may require permission, extra review, or alternate planning before a charter can be confirmed.
Are all destinations available by airplane?
No. South Bimini is a land airport, while North Bimini is an official seaplane base. Other entries may be heliports, private facilities, special-access destinations, legacy identifiers, or island areas served through another airport. The assigned aircraft and permitted facility must be confirmed for each mission.
Can charters depart from airports other than Fort Lauderdale Executive?
Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is the home base. Other departure airports may be considered after reviewing aircraft positioning, crew, airport suitability, permissions, customs, timing, costs, and operational requirements.
